Senior Dispatch Controller

About the role

The Senior Dispatch Controller is responsible for receiving finished steel goods, allocating them to proper locations, and managing direct dispatch according to the dispatch plan. The role ensures accurate stock records in ERP, oversees material movements, and maintains safety and efficiency in the yard.

Key responsibilities

• Receive finished goods, allocate to correct locators, and execute direct dispatch as per plan.
• Maintain stock accuracy in SAP/ERP, perform cycle counts and stock taking.
• Control material movements such as GAG, recertification, rework, and ensure proper documentation.
• Conduct daily safety toolbox talks for crane operators, dispatch helpers, and equipment drivers.
• Arrange dispatch trucks, manage equipment availability, and oversee loading inspections.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; ICDL certification preferred.
• 5‑8 years of experience in the steel industry with strong inventory and warehouse management background.

Required skills

• Advanced MS Excel and general MS Office proficiency.
• SAP/ERP system knowledge and inventory control expertise.
• Understanding of warehouse and dispatch procedures in a steel production environment.
