Business Analyst – Instashop

About the role

We are looking for a Business Analyst to join Instashop, the leading online marketplace in the UAE and Egypt. You will work closely with Marketing, Product, Commercial and Operations teams to turn data into actionable insights that drive growth and improve profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse business performance across growth, customer behaviour, revenue, profitability, marketing and operations.
• Write and optimise SQL queries to extract and analyse large datasets.
• Conduct deep‑dives to identify trends, performance gaps and growth opportunities.
• Evaluate marketing efficiency metrics such as CAC, ROAS and conversion, and recommend targeting and budget improvements.
• Support customer segmentation, cohort analysis and impact estimation for new initiatives.
• Build dashboards and recurring reports using BI and visualisation tools.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in Business, Data, Growth or Strategy Analytics.
• Strong hands‑on SQL skills and advanced Excel/Google Sheets proficiency.
• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker or Metabase.
• Ability to translate complex analysis into clear business recommendations.
• Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders in a fast‑paced environment.
