Business Development Manager – Institutional Payments

About the role

Taptap Send is launching an institutional payments business that moves money across more than 80 emerging‑market corridors. We are looking for a Business Development Manager to build and manage relationships with institutional clients such as crypto exchanges, fintech firms, money‑transfer operators and corporate treasury teams.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, engage and close new institutional partnership opportunities across crypto, fintech and payments.
• Manage the full business‑development cycle from outreach and qualification to commercial negotiation and onboarding.
• Collaborate with trading, operations and product teams to structure deals and ensure rapid client activation.
• Represent Taptap Send at industry events and raise the company’s profile within target segments.
• Translate client feedback into product and corridor priorities for internal teams.
• Maintain a clean pipeline and provide regular updates to senior leadership.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of business‑development, partnership or sales experience in payments, crypto or foreign‑exchange markets.
• Established network of contacts within crypto exchanges, money‑transfer operators or emerging‑market fintechs.
• Proven ability to sell technical financial products to sophisticated institutional buyers.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with a results‑driven mindset.
