Carpenter – Hotel Maintenance

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Carpenter to join the engineering team at Radisson Resort Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah. The role involves maintaining and repairing all carpentry and joinery elements throughout the hotel to ensure a safe and high‑quality guest environment.

Key responsibilities

• Repair and maintain all carpentry and joinery works, including doors, hinges and closures.
• Maintain and refurbish hotel furnishings such as chairs, tables and cabinets.
• Work with materials including wood, fibre‑board, Formica, glass and plasterboard.
• Carry out minor constructions, installations and emergency repairs.
• Provide material usage information to the Store Controller for accurate stock control.
• Report hazards, keep work areas tidy and follow all safety and hotel policies.
• Assist other personnel during emergencies and support the Assistant Chief Engineer as required.
• Participate in on‑the‑job and off‑the‑job training sessions.

Required profile

• Technical certification in Carpentry.
• 2–5 years of experience in hotel or building maintenance.
• Knowledge of water systems, pumps and sanitary installations.
• Good troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to work shifts and respond to emergencies.
