Carpenter Technician (Level 3)

About the role

The Carpenter Technician (Level 3) is responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance, repair, fabrication and installation of carpentry, painting and joinery works throughout Atlantis The Palm, a luxury resort in Dubai. The role ensures that guest‑room furniture, doors, wooden flooring and other wooden fixtures remain safe, functional and aesthetically pleasing.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of all carpentry‑related items.
• Repair and maintain guest‑room gypsum ceilings, furniture, wardrobes, cabinets, drawers, doors, door frames, skirting and wooden flooring.
• Install, repair and adjust locks, hinges, door closers, handles and other door hardware.
• Repair damaged wooden panels, decorative moldings, partitions and ceiling access panels.
• Perform polishing, sanding, laminate repairs and finishing works.
• Fabricate wooden components according to site measurements.
• Replace damaged plywood, MDF and related materials as required.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 month experience in carpentry or hotel maintenance.
• Ability to work safely with hand and power tools.
• Strong collaboration skills to work closely with the engineering team.
• Commitment to health, safety and operational procedures.
