Category Lead – Beauty & Wellness

About the role

The Category Lead – Beauty & Wellness will own the end‑to‑end development of the beauty and wellness business for 6thStreet.com. This senior position combines full P&L responsibility, category strategy, assortment planning, brand partnership, and cross‑functional leadership to drive growth across digital and phygital channels.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a 1–3‑year growth roadmap, managing revenue, margin, inventory productivity and marketing efficiency.
• Build a differentiated portfolio across skincare, makeup, fragrance, haircare, personal care, vitamins, supplements and sustainable products, negotiating terms with regional and international brands.
• Lead the annual trading calendar, set pricing and promotional strategies, and monitor KPIs such as revenue, margin, conversion, AOV and inventory turnover.
• Partner with product, UX, CRM and marketing teams to create a best‑in‑class shopping experience, including personalized recommendations, educational content and omnichannel merchandising.
• Collaborate with supply chain and planning to optimise demand forecasting, inventory health and fulfillment for temperature‑sensitive and shelf‑life products.

Required profile

• 8–12 years of experience in beauty, wellness or lifestyle retail with proven P&L ownership.
• Strong track record in category management, buying, vendor negotiations and brand partnership development.
• Deep understanding of beauty and wellness trends, consumer behaviour and product ecosystems.
• Experience working across digital and omnichannel environments and leading cross‑functional teams.
