About the role
We are seeking a Chef de Partie with Arabic language skills to join the culinary team at a Marriott hotel in Dubai. The role involves preparing a variety of hot and cold dishes, ensuring consistency with recipes and presentation standards, and supporting the kitchen during busy periods.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare special meals and substitute items, following recipes, quality and presentation standards.
- Regulate oven, broiler, grill and roaster temperatures and manage food thawing from freezer storage.
- Maintain portion control, food garnish, and accurate food logs.
- Monitor food quality and quantity, and communicate assistance needs during peak service.
- Inform the Chef and service staff of menu specials, excess items, and out‑of‑stock items.
Required profile
- Technical, trade or vocational school degree.
- At least three years of relevant kitchen experience.
- No prior supervisory experience required.
