Chef de Partie – Luxury Resort Kitchen

About the role

The Meliá Desert Palm Dubai is seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join its upscale resort kitchen. You will lead a specific station, ensuring every dish meets the brand’s high standards of quality, taste and presentation while supporting the broader culinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Organise daily activities within your kitchen section and coordinate with the Sous Chef and Executive Chef.
• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, maintaining consistency and high quality.
• Estimate production needs, monitor raw and cooked food quality, and control portion sizes.
• Guide and mentor junior chefs and commis, fostering their development.
• Maintain hygiene, safety and proper use of all kitchen equipment, reporting any issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with food storage, handling and sanitation standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Chef de Partie in a hotel or upscale restaurant environment.
• Strong knowledge of menu items, recipes and plating techniques.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, high‑standards kitchen.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction.
