Chief Concierge – Luxury Resort

About the role

The Chief Concierge leads the concierge team at InterContinental Ras Al Khaimah Mina Al Arab Resort & Spa, ensuring every guest receives a warm, personalised experience from arrival to departure. This senior position combines leadership, local expertise and a passion for luxury hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the full concierge operation, including desk, bell service, transport arrangements and valet partners.
• Deliver consistently warm, professional and highly personalised service to all guests.
• Build strong guest relationships and anticipate needs before they are requested.
• Act as the main source of trusted local knowledge, covering dining, attractions, events and transportation.
• Coordinate VIP arrivals, group movements and complex guest requests.
• Handle guest concerns calmly and use feedback to drive service improvements.
• Collaborate closely with Front Office and other departments to ensure seamless guest journeys.
• Maintain excellent standards of appearance, organisation and presence in lobby and concierge areas.
• Lead by example as a brand ambassador and actively promote hotel services and experiences.

Required profile

• Strong communication, leadership and guest‑service skills.
• Solid experience in concierge or guest services within a hotel or resort environment (minimum 3 years).
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a concierge setting.
• Hands‑on leadership style with the ability to coach and motivate a team.
• Strong local knowledge or the ability to acquire it quickly and accurately.
• Ability to stay calm, organised and professional under pressure.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
• High school qualification or equivalent; hospitality education is a plus.
