Civil Construction Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Manager – Civil Construction to lead our civil works portfolio in Abu Dhabi. The role involves overseeing all phases of construction, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular on‑site inspections of workmanship, materials and activities to verify compliance with specifications and quality standards.
• Supervise contractors, subcontractors and labor forces, coordinating schedules to achieve efficient execution.
• Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals and change orders promptly.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including daily reports, inspection logs and technical records.
• Identify and resolve technical issues on‑site, applying innovative solutions to construction challenges.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants and project managers to ensure transparent communication and address concerns.
• Monitor project budgets and schedules, report variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Perform material testing and quality‑assurance activities to confirm compliance with project standards.
• Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations for stakeholders.
• Support the implementation of sustainable construction practices and safety procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing civil construction projects of similar scale.
• Strong knowledge of construction codes, standards and quality‑control processes.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills with a focus on practical, on‑site solutions.
• Effective communication skills for reporting and client interaction.
