Civil Engineer – Roads & Infrastructure (Dubai)

About the role

Parsons is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join its Roads and Infrastructure team in Dubai. You will support the Resident Engineer in daily project operations, ensuring that construction activities align with contract requirements and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist and deputize for the Resident Engineer as needed.
• Supervise contractor works to meet O&M and construction specifications.
• Participate in contract administration and review contractor submissions.
• Provide on‑site direction, issue site instructions, and supervise inspection staff.
• Monitor safety practices, material quality, and workmanship.
• Track progress against the program, prepare progress reports, and ensure accurate as‑built drawings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of post‑graduate experience in site supervision and construction management of major infrastructure projects in the UAE.
• At least 10 years of experience in Dubai, including 5 years in a similar role.
• Proven experience supervising major road and general infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of contractual relationships and excellent written and oral English communication.
• Proficient with computer tools for data access, record‑keeping, and reporting.
