Civil Inspector

About the role

Parsons is seeking a skilled Civil Inspector to oversee day‑to‑day civil and infrastructure works on site. You will ensure that all activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and the project’s quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor civil works such as excavation, backfilling, compaction, pavement layers, concrete and structural works, utility installations, and duct banks.
• Conduct routine and hold‑point inspections, review and witness field and laboratory tests, and verify results against specifications.
• Prepare inspection requests, daily records, non‑conformance reports (NCRs) and maintain systematic documentation for audit purposes.
• Assist Resident Engineers with progress reports, technical inputs, and coordinate with other discipline inspectors.
• Ensure contractor adherence to quality control procedures, support corrective actions, and promote safe working practices.

Required profile

• Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in construction supervision of infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, and highways.
