Cloud Consultant – OpenShift

About the role

Red Hat Consulting is seeking a Cloud Consultant specialized in Red Hat Cloud products to work with customers in the UAE. The role involves designing and developing cloud‑ready infrastructure and application architectures, including automated container platforms and deployment pipelines. You will lead on‑site implementations of Red Hat OpenShift and Ansible Automation Platform, helping customers translate business needs into practical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert at customer sites, addressing technical, development, or strategic IT requirements.
• Implement and integrate Red Hat OpenShift, Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform and other Red Hat cloud offerings.
• Collaborate with project and customer teams to meet timelines and goals.
• Contribute to project documentation, diagrams and support case management.
• Mentor customers and team members, sharing knowledge.
• Define and promote automation and DevOps processes to improve cloud lifecycle, uptime, availability and time‑to‑market.
• Design and implement solutions using cloud technologies, integration points and automation methods.

Required profile

• Advanced experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
• Hands‑on expertise with Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience with Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform.
• Proven ability to implement system infrastructure and cloud solutions (storage, networking, monitoring, security).
• Strong communication skills in English for technical and business audiences.
• Availability to work onsite more than 50% of the time.
