Cluster Electrician

About the role

The Cluster Electrician will ensure the electrical systems across both Dukes The Palm Dubai Hotel and NH Collection Dubai The Palm operate safely, efficiently and reliably. You will work on guest rooms, public areas, back‑of‑house facilities and support the Engineering team during emergencies.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine inspection, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of all electrical systems and equipment.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and breakdowns in guest rooms, restaurants, kitchens, offices and other hotel areas.
• Diagnose and rectify faults in lighting, power outlets, distribution boards, switches, circuit breakers, motors and related equipment.
• Install and replace electrical fixtures, wiring, switches, sockets and emergency lighting as required.
• Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance according to the Engineering Department’s program.
• Ensure all work complies with hotel safety standards, UAE regulations and local codes.
• Support the Engineering team during power interruptions, equipment failures and other technical incidents.
• Identify opportunities for energy conservation and assist with related initiatives.

Required profile

• Ability to work on electrical installations in guest rooms, public areas and back‑of‑house facilities with minimal disruption to guests.
• Willingness to follow hotel safety policies and UAE electrical regulations.
