Collections Executive – Financial Services

About the role

The Collections Executive is responsible for driving the timely recovery of overdue receivables, safeguarding cash flow and supporting the financial health of Al‑Futtaim Finance. You will engage directly with customers to resolve outstanding balances while adhering to ethical collection standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular follow‑ups with past‑due customers via phone and email.
• Document all interactions in the Collection Management Log to maintain accurate records.
• Respond promptly and professionally to customer queries related to collections.
• Ensure consistent, rigorous follow‑up to recover pending dues.
• Provide the team with updates on customer payment behaviour and financial health.
• Follow collection procedures, SOPs, compliance standards and ethical practices.
• Escalate and transfer accounts for legal action when required, completing all formalities.
• Coordinate with Operations and other departments to resolve issues affecting payments.
• Negotiate repayment solutions through calls, emails and meetings.
• Prepare and submit periodic ad‑hoc reports to the Line Manager.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective negotiation and problem resolution.
• Strong capability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines under pressure.
