Commercial Manager – Building Projects

About the role

Western Bainoona Group is seeking a Commercial Manager with strong building‑project experience to join its Abu Dhabi team. The role is full‑time and on‑site, focusing on the commercial success of construction initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee commercial activities for building projects, including contract negotiation, cost control and profitability monitoring.
• Prepare and review commercial proposals, manage contracts and variations, and analyse financial performance.
• Support business planning for current and upcoming projects.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, finance and procurement to align commercial strategies with operational goals.
• Lead commercial reporting, assist risk management and drive continuous improvement of commercial processes and standards.

Required profile

• Proven commercial and contract management experience in construction, with strong negotiation skills.
• Solid analytical and business‑planning capabilities for budgeting, forecasting and profitability analysis.
• Effective team‑management and stakeholder‑coordination abilities across multiple projects.
• Relevant experience in building or construction projects in a commercial or contract‑management capacity.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, business, finance or a related field (preferred).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for clear reporting and documentation.
• Knowledge of UAE construction industry practices, local regulations and standard forms of contract (advantage).
