Graduate Electrical Engineer – Abu Dhabi

About the role

We are looking for a Graduate Electrical Engineer to join AECOM’s Abu Dhabi team. The role provides exposure to strategic initiatives and building construction supervision projects, supporting the delivery of electrical systems for building services.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare electrical design calculations, drawings, load schedules and technical documentation for building services projects.
• Develop and optimise power, lighting and ELV (Extra Low Voltage) systems within multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in site reviews, inspections and coordination activities to ensure design compliance and quality assurance.
• Assist in equipment selection, design studies and evaluation of engineering solutions during planning and construction phases.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university (2025 or 2026 graduate).
• Minimum GPA of 2.8 (or equivalent).
• UAE national with a family book, as required by Emiratisation policy.
