Commis 3 – Banquet Kitchen Assistant

About the role

Join the Banquet Kitchen team at Palazzo Versace Dubai as a Commis 3, supporting the preparation and service of high‑volume banquet events. This on‑site position offers the chance to develop culinary skills in a luxury hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with daily food preparation, mise en place, and ingredient handling according to recipes and senior chef instructions.
• Prepare hot and cold banquet dishes for events, conferences, and functions while maintaining quality and presentation standards.
• Set up and organize banquet food production before service, ensuring a clean and hygienic workstation.
• Store, label, and handle ingredients in compliance with food safety and HACCP requirements.
• Support the Chef de Partie and senior culinary team during peak production periods.

Required profile

• Previous kitchen experience preferred, but fresh culinary graduates are welcome.
• Culinary qualification or relevant professional training is an advantage.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Attention to detail, commitment to cleanliness, and flexibility to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and extended event hours.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations.
• Understanding of HACCP and food safety standards.
