About the role

The Seafood Market Commis 3 supports the culinary team by preparing and cooking a variety of seafood dishes in a fast‑paced hotel environment. This full‑time, on‑site role ensures high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients: portion, chop, wash, peel, weigh, measure and mix according to recipes.
• Cook and assemble cold and hot seafood items, following quality and presentation standards.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers safely.
• Monitor cooking progress, test doneness, and ensure correct temperatures of food and appliances.
• Set up and break down work stations, serve food in proper portions, and maintain a clean, disinfected kitchen area.
• Follow all safety, security and hygiene policies, reporting any incidents or maintenance needs.
• Maintain professional appearance, protect confidential information and company assets.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant food‑preparation or kitchen experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend and lift objects up to 25 lb without assistance.
