About the role
The Commis Chef supports kitchen operations by assisting with food preparation, service, and cleanliness while developing core culinary skills under the guidance of senior chefs.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation and mise en place, ensuring all ingredients are ready and properly organized for service.
- Support service execution during busy periods by helping plating and delivering dishes efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, tools, and equipment throughout the shift.
- Follow hygiene and safety procedures to comply with health regulations and kitchen standards.
- Learn and develop across different kitchen sections, gaining exposure to various cooking techniques.
Required profile
- 1–2 years of kitchen experience or formal culinary training.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn in a fast‑paced environment.
