Commis II – Kitchen Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a passionate and dynamic Commis II to join our kitchen team in Dubai. You will support daily food preparation, uphold hygiene standards, and contribute to delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Demi Chef de Partie or Commis I in daily operations.
• Prepare mise‑en‑place and food production across main and satellite kitchens.
• Maintain a hygienic work area in line with hotel standards.
• Control food stock and monitor food costs for your section.
• Follow menu specifications and chef instructions to ensure consistent quality.
• Coordinate with other sections to manage cleanliness, waste, and cost control.

Required profile

• Completed professional kitchen apprenticeship or chef training course.
• Previous experience in quality establishments with strong culinary fundamentals.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Positive, dynamic, and able to work in a multicultural, high‑pressure environment.
