Computer Science Teacher (Start Aug 2026)

About the role

Jumeirah College, a GEMS Premium Secondary School in Dubai, is seeking an experienced Computer Science Teacher to join its faculty from August 2026. The role involves delivering the National Curriculum for England to a diverse, international student body at GCSE and A‑Level.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess Computer Science lessons for KS4 and KS5 following the UK National Curriculum.
• Prepare students for GCSE and A‑Level examinations, ensuring high attainment rates.
• Contribute to the school’s enrichment programme, including clubs, competitions and charitable projects.
• Maintain accurate records, report student progress and participate in staff meetings.
• Uphold safeguarding policies and complete a UK enhanced DBS check.

Required profile

• A B.Ed. or equivalent degree with a PGCE/PGDE or comparable qualification.
• Minimum three years of experience teaching Computer Science within the National Curriculum for England.
• Exceptional subject knowledge and a commitment to student development.
• Ability to obtain a UK enhanced DBS or equivalent police clearance.
