Construction Manager – PV & BESS (Renewables)

About the role

SEGULA Technologies is looking for an experienced Construction Manager to lead construction supervision on a large‑scale utility solar photovoltaic (PV) and battery energy storage system (BESS) project in Umm Al Quwain, United Arab Emirates. The role will ensure that all construction activities are delivered safely, on schedule and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee construction activities across PV, BESS and related infrastructure.
• Monitor contractor performance, progress, quality and health‑safety‑environment (HSE) compliance.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary site engineering teams.
• Review construction schedules, method statements and site progress reports.
• Identify construction risks, interface issues and implement corrective actions.
• Support inspections, testing and hand‑over activities.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in a relevant discipline.
• Proven construction management experience on utility‑scale solar PV and/or BESS projects.
• Experience supervising EPC contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of construction sequencing, quality assurance and site safety.
• Previous UAE project experience is preferred.
