Contract Manager – Infrastructure Projects

About the role

Our client, a leading international construction and infrastructure group, is seeking a Contract Manager to join its regional Contract Management and Legal function in the UAE. You will support major civil engineering projects across the Middle East, protecting contractual entitlement, managing commercial risk, and assisting project delivery teams.

Key responsibilities

• Provide contract management support for large civil infrastructure projects.
• Advise project teams on contractual obligations, risk, and compliance.
• Administer main contracts and subcontract agreements, including correspondence, notices, and submissions.
• Prepare, assess, and negotiate Variation Orders and contractual changes.
• Manage Extension of Time (EOT) claims and related entitlement.
• Assist in the preparation and management of contractual claims and dispute‑related matters.
• Participate in contract drafting, negotiation, and risk reviews.
• Support dispute avoidance strategies and preparation for dispute boards or arbitration.
• Collaborate with commercial, engineering, planning, and legal teams to ensure contractual compliance throughout project delivery.

Required profile

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• 7–15 years of experience in contract management, quantity surveying, commercial management, or construction contracts.
• Experience on major civil infrastructure projects such as highways, bridges, tunnels, rail, water, or complex building works.
