Contracts & Commercial Manager

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Contracts / Commercial Manager to lead contract management and commercial operations for a leading construction and engineering firm in Dubai. The role involves overseeing the full contract lifecycle, ensuring legal compliance, and driving business value across government and private sector projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, negotiate and manage complex commercial contracts with clients, vendors and partners.
• Analyze and mitigate contractual risks to protect company interests.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design and implement effective contract strategies.
• Oversee contract initiation, execution, monitoring and close‑out.
• Conduct financial analysis to evaluate contract performance and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with UAE commercial laws and regulations.
• Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
• Implement and maintain contract management systems and processes.
• Provide guidance and training on contract management best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in contract management or commercial roles, preferably in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of UAE commercial laws and regulations.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and leadership abilities.
• Professional certifications such as IACCM or CCCM are a plus.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.

• Proficiency in contract management software.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office Suite.
