Contracts Manager

About the role

The Contracts Manager is responsible for overseeing all pre‑contract activities, ensuring that contractual documents align with company policies, risk‑mitigation frameworks, and project requirements. This role provides contractual expertise across multiple projects and supports the Director of Contracts Management in delivering compliant and value‑driven agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Review and analyse all contractual documents (NDAs, MoUs, letters of award, sub‑contracts, warranties, guarantees, etc.) for bid submissions.
• Collaborate with Business Development, Legal, Finance, SCM, HSES, Quality and project teams to identify risks and opportunities.
• Develop negotiation strategies, draft contracts, and support negotiations with clients to achieve favourable terms.
• Prepare contract clarifications, manage variations, warranties and dispute resolution during project execution.
• Identify and mitigate contractual risks in consultation with Legal and the Director of Contracts Management.
• Mentor and develop the contracts team, ensuring alignment with Lamprell Gold and Silver Contract Standards.
• Produce reports on contract compliance, non‑compliance and associated risks for senior leadership.

Required profile

• Proven experience in contract management, negotiation and risk assessment.
• Strong understanding of contractual law, commercial terms and industry best practices.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Relevant degree in Law, Business Administration or related field.
