About the role

The Independent Food Company is hosting an Open Day to recruit passionate culinary talent for its growing portfolio of concepts across the UAE. Positions range from Commis to Sous Chef, offering the chance to join a dynamic hospitality group.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and present dishes according to brand recipes and quality standards.
• Maintain consistency in portioning, plating, and overall presentation.
• Keep workstations clean, organized, and compliant with HACCP and food‑safety regulations.
• Assist with stock handling, inventory control, and waste reduction.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Support senior chefs in upholding operational excellence and service standards.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a professional kitchen (level dependent on the role applied for).
• Experience in restaurants, hotels, or similar hospitality environments is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑volume setting.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Must be currently based in the UAE.
