Cybersecurity IT GRC Specialist (Part‑Time, Remote)

About the role

We are partnering with a leading AI lab to engage an experienced cybersecurity governance, risk and compliance (GRC) professional. The role is fully remote, part‑time and focused on creating and refining AI‑generated documentation for audit and security processes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and review SOC 2, ISO 27001 and NIST audit readiness documentation.
• Produce risk assessment reports, control matrices and vendor security questionnaires.
• Generate incident response, breach notification and policy framework documents.
• Design board‑level security posture dashboards and slide decks.
• Collaborate with AI engineers to improve model outputs on professional documents, spreadsheets and presentations.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in cybersecurity GRC, IT audit or information‑security compliance.
• Direct ownership of SOC 2, ISO 27001 or NIST certification projects.
• Proven ability to write and review detailed risk assessments and control documentation.
• Excellent written communication and meticulous attention to detail.
