Data Analyst - UAE National ICQA LND Analytics Team

About the role

Amazon is a highly data‑driven company that obsessively tracks metrics. As a Data Analyst in the ICQA LND Analytics Team, you will create unique reports from multiple data sources and provide insights into quality defects and inventory adjustments, supporting the ICQA, Learning and Finance departments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop data collection processes and management systems.
• Design SQL queries, compile data, and generate reports.
• Chart and graph data for reporting purposes.
• Build dashboards in Amazon QuickSight to aid business decision‑making.
• Automate analyses using Python.
• Prepare and publish reports for weekly, quarterly and project reviews.
• Assist leadership in interpreting data trends.
• Research defect trends and perform data entry as needed.
• Present analyses in clear, standard reports.
• Support ICQA and Learning team projects.

Required profile

• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Effective communication with leadership, stakeholders and cross‑functional teams.
• Proven ability to manage large projects from start to finish, including data gathering, modeling and recommendation delivery.
• Understanding of business and customer needs and translating them into solutions.
• Experience with AWS services such as Redshift, S3, Glue, EMR, Kinesis, Firehose, Lambda and IAM.
