Data Engineer – Build Data Pipelines & Lakes

About the role

Dubai Holding is seeking a Data Engineer to lead the design, development, and maintenance of data solutions that empower product teams. You will build and manage data pipelines, lakes, and warehouses while ensuring data quality and compliance with privacy regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines, lakes, and warehouses.
• Develop ETL jobs, stored procedures, functions, and packages.
• Implement and enforce ETL operating standards and data‑quality best practices.
• Collaborate with backend developers, IT architects, and product owners to integrate analytics and AI use cases.
• Translate product requirements into engineering plans and road‑maps.
• Support bug fixing, performance optimisation, and agile delivery.

Required profile

• 3‑6 years of experience in data engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, Science, Data Science/AI); advanced degrees preferred.
• Proven experience with big‑data platforms such as Databricks, Spark, Hive, or Palantir Foundry.
• Experience implementing AI solutions, including OCR and large language models.
