Data Science Manager – Finance

About the role

The Finance Data Science Manager will lead a team of data scientists to develop and deploy advanced analytics solutions that improve financial performance and risk management for Al‑Futtaim Automotive. You will translate business challenges into predictive models, dashboards and actionable insights that support strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and validate predictive models such as residual value forecasting, credit scoring, delinquency prediction and collections optimisation.
• Deliver at least two use‑cases that demonstrate measurable impact on financial outcomes.
• Create and maintain finance‑focused KPI dashboards and risk visualisations, delivering a minimum of three comprehensive dashboards.
• Generate monthly financial insights using time‑series analysis, anomaly detection and stress testing, producing at least three actionable recommendations.
• Mentor and manage a team of data scientists, ensuring best practices in MLOps, version control and model monitoring.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or MSc in Financial Analytics, Computer Science or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of data‑science experience with a strong focus on finance.
• Proven ability to communicate complex analytical results to non‑technical stakeholders.

Required skills

• Python, SQL, Databricks.
• Machine‑learning libraries: scikit‑learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch.
• Time‑series models: ARIMA, SARIMA, LSTM, Prophet.
• Statistical and visualisation tools: Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly.
• Experience with MLOps pipelines, Git version control and ensemble methods such as gradient boosting.
