Data Science Manager – Operations

About the role

Al-Futtaim is seeking a Data Science Manager to lead AI and data‑science initiatives that boost operational efficiency across its automotive finance business. You will work within the Digital Technology and Customer Experience team, partnering with operations, business and technology stakeholders to turn complex data into actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver AI and data‑science use cases that improve operational performance.
• Design, build and deploy predictive models such as price elasticity, residual‑value forecasting, predictive maintenance, churn prediction and anomaly detection.
• Develop KPI metrics and reporting dashboards using statistical process control and data‑visualisation tools.
• Generate actionable insights through statistical analysis, hypothesis testing and machine‑learning techniques.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate data findings into clear business recommendations.
• Lead and mentor a team of data scientists to ensure timely, high‑quality analytics delivery.

Required profile

• 4‑5 years of hands‑on experience in customer, finance or operations analytics.
• Strong background in advanced statistics, machine learning, time‑series analysis, forecasting, regression, classification, clustering and anomaly detection.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science or a related discipline.
