Demand Planner – Global After‑Sales (UAE National)

About the role

The Demand Planner is a key member of Al Futtaim Automotive’s Global After‑Sales team, responsible for managing inventory cost while maintaining service levels across the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Order processing: review and process back‑to‑back orders, monitor back‑orders and provide ETD/ETA information to customers.
• Branch support: handle recall and redistribution orders, monitor auto‑replenishment, analyse branch stock health and maintain service index.
• Demand planning: collect market data, generate statistical forecasts, measure forecast variances and adjust plans for key customers and branches.
• Lost sales analysis: gather inquiry data, identify revenue opportunities, analyse root causes and coordinate corrective actions.
• Master data management: maintain and update parts master data using SAP MDM.
• KPI dashboard management: track service level, forecast accuracy, back‑order aging, local purchase value and lost sales for all brands.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Approximately 5 years of supply chain experience, preferably in the automotive sector.
• Extensive knowledge of inventory management systems and experience with ERP platforms such as SAP.
• Proven ability to develop management reporting packs and present insights to senior leadership.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project).
• Hands‑on experience with SAP MDM / SAP ERP.
• Familiarity with the Syncron demand monitoring tool.
• Strong problem‑solving and continuous‑improvement methodology skills.
• Understanding of agile working methodologies.
