Demand Planner – Grocery Store

About the role

Talabat is expanding its grocery‑store concept, Talabat Mart, across the Middle East. We are looking for a Demand Planner to ensure optimal inventory levels, prevent stock‑outs or over‑stock, and support rapid 30‑minute grocery deliveries.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily stock movements and generate inventory adjustment reports.
• Maintain and update replenishment model parameters such as lead times, reorder points, economic order quantities and supplier minimum order quantities.
• Prepare demand forecasts, initiate store orders and track receipt of goods.
• Coordinate inventory management with Category Managers.
• Analyse and report on inventory and purchase forecasts in a timely manner.
• Dispatch orders to suppliers and ensure proper tracking.
• Liaise with suppliers to improve collaborative forecasting, planning and replenishment.
• Maintain accurate records of in‑stock and inventory positions.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in demand planning or related supply‑chain roles.
• Highly detail‑oriented, structured and solution‑focused.
• Proven ability to interact with senior executives and manage multiple stakeholder expectations.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; comfortable using various planning tools.
• Excellent interpersonal and intercultural abilities; can inspire cross‑functional teams.
• Fluent English; Arabic is a strong advantage.
