Demi Chef De Partie – Cold Kitchen

About the role

Accor is looking for a motivated Demi Chef De Partie to join the cold kitchen team at its Dubai hotel. You will work under the Chef de Partie, preparing and cooking dishes that delight guests while maintaining the highest standards of quality and hygiene.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in ingredient preparation, mise en place and cooking under the Chef de Partie’s guidance.
• Execute assigned cooking tasks, ensuring recipes and hotel quality standards are met.
• Maintain cleanliness, orderliness and proper functioning of the cold kitchen station.
• Control quality, taste and presentation of dishes before service.
• Follow food safety and hygiene regulations, including proper handling, storage and disposal.
• Support menu development by testing recipes and suggesting improvements.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Help monitor inventory, place orders and manage stock levels.
• Train and mentor junior staff such as Commis Chefs and apprentices.
• Adapt to work in different kitchen sections as needed.

Required profile

• Culinary school diploma or equivalent culinary training.
• Previous experience in a similar hotel or restaurant kitchen role.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Strong culinary skills and a passion for cooking.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Currently residing in the UAE and able to join immediately is an advantage.
