Demi Chef de Partie

About the role

The Demi Chef de Partie will support the Chef de Partie in daily kitchen operations at Hyatt Centric Jumeirah Dubai. This role ensures high‑quality food preparation and presentation while upholding Hyatt’s brand standards and food safety requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the assigned kitchen station and assist culinary associates to meet Hyatt quality and presentation standards.
• Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to recipes, portion controls, and presentation guidelines.
• Maintain consistency in taste, freshness, and visual appeal across all menu items.
• Monitor food quality and enforce HACCP and food safety regulations.
• Control waste and support food cost objectives by following standard recipes.
• Keep workstations, equipment, and storage areas clean, organized, and sanitary.
• Train, coach, and support Commis Chefs and other junior staff in food preparation, hygiene, and operational procedures.
• Handle guest and internal inquiries courteously, ensuring satisfactory resolution.
