Development Manager – Real Estate Projects (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Development Manager to lead product development, master planning and design coordination of large‑scale real estate projects across the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Initiate projects and prepare/co‑ordinate development briefs.
• Support master planning and product development, aligning projects with market demand and sustainability objectives.
• Manage all aspects of the development process, including due diligence, entitlements, construction and project close‑out.
• Work closely with design consultants to ensure projects progress on schedule and within budget.
• Coordinate architects, engineers and specialist consultants for timely project progression.
• Monitor project budgets, programmes and key development milestones.
• Review development proposals and provide commercial and technical input throughout the lifecycle.
• Manage consultant appointments, contracts and deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with UAE planning regulations, development guidelines and statutory requirements.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Prepare presentations, reports and updates for senior management and stakeholders.
• Support financial planning, forecasting and cost monitoring throughout development.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Real Estate, Finance or a related discipline.
• Approximately 13+ years of real‑estate development experience within the UAE market.
• Proven track record delivering residential, mixed‑use or master‑planned developments.
• Strong understanding of development feasibility, planning approvals and development processes.
• Experience preparing development briefs and coordinating multidisciplinary consultants.
• Ability to manage projects through early development and design stages while ensuring programme and budget compliance.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Commercially minded with strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Experience with leading developers or master developers in the UAE (highly desirable).
