Director, Information Technology

About the role

The Director of Information Technology leads 24/7 operations of core business applications and interfaces across The Royal Atlantis and Atlantis The Palm hotels. Reporting to the VP of IT, you will guide a large team of specialists, ensure seamless IT support for internal staff and hotel guests, and drive continuous improvement in service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee 24/7 1st and 2nd level support for all hotel IT systems.
• Manage installation, maintenance, and upgrades of software and hardware across both properties.
• Coordinate with department heads to gather requirements and define deliverables.
• Lead vendor and partner relationships, ensuring compliance with SLAs and performance metrics.
• Develop and mentor the IT team on best practices, process improvement, and skill development.
• Monitor operational efficiency and implement solutions to optimize performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven experience at Director level in a similar hospitality IT environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, able to influence at all organizational levels.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large, diverse teams and drive business value from technology partners.
