Director of Development – Real Estate

About the role

Dubai Holding Real Estate is seeking a senior leader to drive the development of its strategic portfolio. The Director of Development will oversee project delivery, ensuring design quality, budget adherence, and profitability while aligning with the company’s long‑term business plan.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the development strategy to meet business objectives and secure board approval.
• Lead the creation of business cases, integrating financial, design, and procurement considerations.
• Manage stakeholder relationships across all levels, coordinating with legal, finance, market research, marketing, sales, architects, quantity surveyors, and engineering teams.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and industry standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coach project teams to obtain necessary approvals and maintain alignment with the development pipeline.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in real‑estate development or related fields.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage large‑scale projects.
• Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting and profitability analysis.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
