Director – Strategy & Growth

About the role

We are seeking an accomplished Director – Strategy & Growth to lead the organization's strategic planning and growth agenda across its real estate development portfolio. The role will be responsible for shaping long‑term business strategy, identifying new development and investment opportunities, evaluating strategic partnerships and joint ventures, and driving sustainable business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a long‑term strategic roadmap aligned with business objectives, lead corporate planning, performance reviews, and transformation initiatives while identifying opportunities to expand the development portfolio and diversify revenue streams.
• Identify and evaluate new real‑estate developments, mixed‑use projects, land acquisitions, strategic investments and joint‑venture opportunities; lead feasibility studies, financial evaluations and commercial due diligence.
• Monitor market trends, customer demand, competitor activity, regulatory developments and economic indicators; produce market insights and strategic recommendations to guide investment decisions and portfolio optimisation.
• Oversee business case development, financial modelling, investment appraisals and ROI analysis for major projects; assess viability, commercial risks and value‑creation opportunities in collaboration with Finance, Development, Commercial and Investment teams.
• Support the CEO and executive leadership in evaluating strategic opportunities, lead negotiations for partnerships and joint ventures, and prepare strategic reports, presentations and recommendations for senior management and the Board.
• Build and lead a high‑performing Strategy & Growth team, establish KPIs to measure execution, growth and investment performance, and foster a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Real Estate, Engineering or related field; MBA or Master’s degree highly preferred; professional certifications in Strategy, Finance, Real Estate or Project Management are an advantage.
• 15+ years of experience in corporate strategy, real‑estate development, investments, business development or corporate planning, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the real‑estate, property, infrastructure or investment sector.
• Proven track record in strategic planning, investment analysis, joint ventures, land acquisitions and business expansion; strong understanding of the UAE/GCC real‑estate market and large‑scale mixed‑use or master‑planned developments.
