District Manager – Retail (UAE)

About the role

The District Manager will lead a portfolio of retail stores across the UAE, driving sustainable growth, profitability and an exceptional shopping experience. You will coach and inspire store teams while collaborating with cross‑functional partners to meet commercial targets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead retail stores to world‑class performance focusing on People, Product, Premises, Processes and Profit.
• Ensure a leading shopping experience and maximise sales and profitability across the store portfolio.
• Manage operational expenses (OPEX) in line with the retail budget.
• Provide commercial recommendations to senior retail leadership and benchmark best practices.
• Conduct store visits, develop action plans and monitor their execution.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training and succession planning for store teams.
• Drive continuous improvement and implement local retail processes in partnership with support functions.
• Maintain compliance with global retail standards, visual merchandising and brand guidelines.
• Measure KPI performance and report progress to senior management.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience leading multi‑store retail teams.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, including presentation, influencing and change management.
• Advanced numeracy and literacy with solid IT proficiency.
• Geographical mobility within the UAE.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of the local language is an advantage.
