Sales Engineer – Fabricated Steel Structures

About the role

The Sales Engineer will drive sales and increase market share for fabricated steel structures such as ETP, STP, RO skids, platforms, piping, pressure vessels and other structural works. The role focuses on the oil & gas and water treatment sectors in the UAE, building relationships with operators, EPCs and contractors to close deals.

Key responsibilities

• Identify opportunities and generate new leads across upstream, midstream and downstream oil & gas sectors.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed targets for fabrication projects.
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications to propose tailored solutions.
• Prepare detailed bids, estimates and presentations in collaboration with the estimation team.
• Negotiate contract terms and pricing with clients.
• Maintain CRM records, track sales activities and provide regular performance reports.
• Collaborate with engineering, project management and operations teams to ensure client satisfaction.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience selling heavy fabricated steel structures (pressure vessels, storage tanks, piping spools, skids packages) in the UAE.
• Background in the oil & gas sector or water treatment industry is preferred.
• Established network of contacts with operators, EPC contractors and procurement decision‑makers.
• Confident, result‑oriented and able to work independently.
