About the role

The Divisional Finance Director will act as the Chief Financial Officer for a business unit within a financial services organisation in Dubai. This senior position is responsible for shaping financial strategy, ensuring regulatory compliance and driving performance across the division.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting and long‑term financial planning processes.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and local regulatory requirements.
• Lead financial reporting and analysis to support senior‑leadership decision‑making.
• Manage relationships with auditors, banks and other financial stakeholders.
• Identify, assess and mitigate financial risks to protect company assets.
• Optimize financial processes and systems for greater efficiency.
• Provide strategic financial advice to the executive team.

Required profile

• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CA, CPA, ACCA).
• Extensive experience in financial management within the financial services sector.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and accounting standards.
• Proven track record in financial planning, analysis and reporting.
• Experience leading and developing finance teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Strategic thinking and strong problem‑solving skills.
