Draughtsman

About the role

The Draughtsman will create and maintain AutoCAD drawings that support construction and interior fit‑out projects for Al Tayer Group. Working closely with architects, project managers and quantity surveyors, you will ensure that design intent is accurately translated into detailed, constructible documents.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare AutoCAD plans, sections, details, specifications and schedules as directed by principals, clients or consultants.
• Incorporate client or consultant changes promptly to secure drawing approvals.
• Survey sites and produce as‑built drawings, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Liaise with architects, project managers and quantity surveyors to clarify design information and provide additional documentation as needed.
• Follow established drawing standards, formats and coordinate with team members for consistent layout and presentation.
• Verify that all deliverables meet project requirements, including variations and amendments.

Required profile

• Diploma in Architecture or related field.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience using AutoCAD, preferably on construction or interior fit‑out projects.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
