Duty Manager – Guest Services

About the role

The Duty Manager ensures smooth front‑desk operations at the Ritz‑Carlton DIFC, handling guest check‑ins, payments and daily reporting while delivering the brand’s high standards of service.

Key responsibilities

• Process all guest check‑ins, verify identity, payment method, assign rooms and issue keys.
• Enter and manage Marriott Rewards information and ensure rates match market codes.
• Compile, review and submit daily cashier, closing and contingency reports.
• Handle all payment types, vouchers, paid‑outs, and balance receipts at shift start and end.
• Notify loss prevention of any theft reports and follow safety and security procedures.
• Assist management with training, coaching and performance evaluations of staff.
• Maintain confidentiality, uphold company policies and ensure a clean, professional appearance.

Required profile

• Minimum 24 months (2 years) experience in hotel front‑desk or guest services operations.
• Ability to work extended periods standing, walking and lifting objects up to 10 lb.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow accounting and security procedures.
