E‑commerce Picker

About the role

The Picker supports the e‑commerce fulfilment process by consolidating orders from the put‑away area, picking items from the sales floor, checking expiry dates and scanning each product. The role ensures orders are complete, accurate and prepared efficiently according to company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Pick orders by scanning each item and verify quantities.
• Perform quality control checks, including expiry‑date verification.
• Confirm out‑of‑stock (OOS) items with the responsible section.
• Provide feedback on picking errors and product quality issues.
• Keep the put‑away area organised, moving unused trolleys and crates to storage.
• Report anomalies such as wrong product images, locations or system issues to the line manager.
• Ensure all storage locations and crates have scannable barcodes.
• Maintain goods in proper areas and in good condition.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of experience in e‑commerce or retail operations.
