EHSMS Manager – Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort

About the role

The EHSMS Manager will lead the Environmental, Health, Safety and Management System for Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort, ensuring a safe environment for guests, staff and contractors. This senior role combines strategic compliance, operational safety oversight and sustainability initiatives within a luxury hospitality setting.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and continuously improve the EHS Management System across the resort.
• Ensure compliance with UAE legislation, Dubai Municipality, Civil Defence and ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 standards.
• Lead internal audits, risk assessments, management reviews and corrective‑action processes.
• Investigate incidents, manage contractor safety, PTW, PPE and MSDS compliance.
• Conduct inspections covering food safety, water quality, pool safety, pest control and safe work practices.
• Deliver safety inductions, emergency drills, first‑aid response and EHS training.
• Maintain EHS documentation, prepare monthly KPI reports and support ESG and sustainability programmes.
• Coordinate safety committees and departmental safety representatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing EHS systems in a hospitality or similar high‑service environment.
• Strong knowledge of UAE health‑ and safety legislation and relevant municipal regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead audits, risk assessments and incident investigations.
• Excellent communication skills and experience delivering training and safety awareness.
• Track record of driving sustainability initiatives and ESG reporting.
