Emirati Academic Program Manager

About the role

This position offers an Emirati professional with a higher‑education background the chance to lead community‑based learning initiatives for an internationally recognised university. You will act as the bridge between faculty and a wide range of local partners, ensuring that academic programmes are closely linked to real‑world organisations across Abu Dhabi and the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Research and negotiate local contracts with government ministries, NGOs, cultural institutions, businesses and humanitarian organisations.
• Meet individually with faculty to review syllabi, identify community‑based learning or research opportunities, and align them with local partners.
• Coordinate all logistical elements required for activities, including permits, payments, transportation, meals, formal letters, bilingual authorisations, cultural orientation, and legal clearances.
• Maintain documentation and reporting to ensure compliance with university and UAE regulations.

Required profile

• University degree required; a master’s degree is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated experience in education, training or community‑engagement projects.
• Excellent communication abilities in English, with strong organisational skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with stakeholders of diverse nationalities and seniority levels.
