Engineering Manager

About the role

We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead a talented group of engineers in building end‑to‑end software solutions for our food‑ordering platform. You will partner with product, design and data teams to understand customer needs and drive impactful outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, inspire and empower engineers to self‑organize, innovate, implement and own complex software solutions.
• Guide the team in delivering value in small batches while meeting non‑functional requirements such as availability, scalability and latency.
• Mentor and coach engineers, fostering growth and retention in a hyper‑growing environment.
• Manage stakeholder and dependency communication to ensure smooth delivery.

Required profile

• 6+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years of hands‑on technical leadership.
• Proven ability to build and lead cross‑functional, self‑organized teams.
• Strong communication skills and a growth‑mindset, thriving on continuous feedback.

Required skills

• Extreme Programming practices (TDD, Pair Programming, Simple Design, Continuous Refactoring).
• Distributed systems architecture: microservices, event‑driven and RESTful services.
• Trunk‑based development and continuous delivery pipelines.
• Design, implementation, monitoring and scaling of web applications and APIs.
• Mobile development lifecycle knowledge.
• Automated end‑to‑end testing.
• Cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Quality, performance, monitoring, alerting and security standards.
