Executive Chef

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Executive Chef to lead the culinary operations of a prestigious private residence in Abu Dhabi. The role combines strategic menu creation with hands‑on cooking, ensuring personalized, high‑quality dining experiences for the Principal and family.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all culinary activities within the residence, maintaining exceptional food quality and service standards.
• Design bespoke menus that reflect the Principal’s preferences, dietary needs, and special occasions.
• Prepare and plate selected dishes personally for VIP events, private dinners and special celebrations.
• Manage and develop a diverse kitchen team, including Sous Chefs, Chef de Parties, Pastry Chefs and Commis staff.
• Maintain rigorous food hygiene, health and safety standards in line with 7‑star private hospitality expectations.
• Control purchasing, inventory and stock levels, ensuring premium ingredients are available while monitoring food costs and waste.
• Continuously introduce new dishes and culinary concepts based on international trends and the Principal’s tastes.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in luxury hospitality, private residences, yachts or fine‑dining establishments.
• Proven ability to lead high‑performing kitchen teams in high‑pressure environments.
• Strong classical culinary foundation with extensive international cuisine expertise.
• Hands‑on, solution‑oriented leader who can remain calm under pressure.
